This is a question we get asked a lot, especially when a lot of customers want to collect orders days before their event. The following gives a general idea that we hope will help.
Helium filled balloons
Helium is the gas used to make balloons float in the air. Latex and foil balloons will generally last a few days looking fresh, some latex like ceiling balloons will only be a couple of days. Large orb foil balloons and bubble style balloons can last over a week.
Air filled displays
These types of displays will normally last weeks, months or even years depending on the environment and still look great. The air inside the balloon is not competing with the air outside and so the only thing ‘letting it down’ is the degrading of the natural latex.
Outdoor or indoor
You will find no matter whether helium or air filled that outdoor displays will last a lot less than indoor as weather, people walking past and other factors are ‘attacking’ the balloons.
And finally
We always recommend keeping balloons out of direct sunlight and at room temperature. Just like us our balloon displays don’t like being too hot or too cold. To learn more about [balloon aftercare please click here]
